National Night Out

The Johnstown Police Department will host their second annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Johnstown Police Department, 430 S. Parish Ave. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live.

While enjoying hot dogs, popsicles and popcorn, meet and mingle with the police officers that keep Johnstown one of the safest towns in all of Colorado! You'll have the opportunity to tour the police department, take a picture in a police car and view the Larimer County S.W.A.T. vehicle that will be on site.

National Night Out is tailored for families, offering a number of fun activities for children and youth. Kids will have a unique opportunity to interact with Johnstown Police officers while either playing games, hitting the piñata, participating in a coloring contest, jumping on the bounce castles, enjoying the petting zoo, or while watching the kid movie that will be playing in the training room.

A night of fun is sure to be had by all. We hope you'll join us the evening of August 2 for the Johnstown Police Department's National Night Out!
