Crews began work on Colorado State Highway (SH) 60 Resurfacing Project on May 1. The project, which includes repavement of sections of the highway from US Highway 287 to Milliken, also includes seeding, improvements of guardrails and curb ramps, as well as the replacement of an irrigation pipe under SH 60.
The work will result in various lane and shoulder closures in both eastbound and westbound directions along the highway through the scheduled completion date in October 2017. Motorists should pay close attention to posted speed limits and use caution when travelling through the construction zone.
