During 2019, the I-25/CO 402 interchange will undergo substantial changes, resulting in a new and improved interchange. To support reconstruction, the I-25 North Express Lanes Project team will close eastbound and westbound CO 402 under I-25 for a total of 120 days beginning the night of Tuesday, May 7. CO 402 will be fully closed from the southbound I-25 on- and off-ramps to the new Southeast Frontage Road. Access will be provided via northbound and southbound I-25 detours respectively.The project team will host a public meeting on Wednesday, April 17 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. to provide information about upcoming construction activities, closures and detour routes, and answer any questions members of the community, local businesses or residents may have. The meeting will take place at The Ranch Events Center Complex located at 5280 Arena Circle, Loveland, Colorado 80538.
Construction activities are weather dependent and subject to change. Please watch for construction vehicles entering and exiting mainline I-25 and obey all posted signage in construction zones. Your safety and the safety of our crews is our highest priority.The I-25 North Express Lanes Project provides a Courtesy Patrol during commute hours (6 to 9 a.m. and 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.) to assist with disabled vehicles within the project limits.
