The Town of Johnstown is looking for individuals to form a new
cemetery committee, which will consist of three residents, one Town
Councilmember, the Town Clerk, and one liaison from the Public Works
Department. The committee will meet quarterly to work together to form
recommendations for Town Council to approve regarding the cemetery grounds,
such as allowing live flowers, shepherd hooks and vases, planting around grave
The Town hopes to have the committee in place by early 2020. Committee members will be chosen by Town Council.
